FREE is the nice price

I'm sitting here at home blogging away on my new Mac Book. I love it. I really do. I shouldn't love an inanimate object this much, but I must confess, I do. It's black and it's beautiful.

Now, those of you who know me well know that I don't have internet service at home. And yet, I'm still blogging. How can this be? Some nice person who lives somewhere near me must have wireless internet service, because I'm hooked up to it right now! How about that! Internet at home; and it's fast, too! There are so many things to love about my new Mac, Bluetooth being one of them. I don't even have to sit in some obscure, remote corner of my apartment. Currently, I'm sitting in one of my favorite spots and I'm surfin' the 'net! Ha! It's a wonderful thing.

For Kevin

I found this picture the other day and I've been meaning to post it for Kevin. Without the vast knowledge of Star Wars quotes that he has, I was unable to come up with a good one for this, but I thought it was an interesting take on the dark side.

Look!

Here's the newest addition to my family. I'll have to come up with an appropriate name, but I have to wait until it arrives. You know, you have to be in it's presence to get the full essence of who it really is. Then and only then can I come up with a good name.

Here it is...

Wonderful, is it not?

Here are the specs:
13.3-inch widescreen display
1280 x 800 resolution
2.0GHz Intel Core Duo1
512MB memory (2x256MB SODIMMs)
80GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive2
SuperDrive (DVD±RW, CD-RW)

The only upgrade I got to it was a gig of ram.
